OOTD – Going all Pineapple!

Here is my OOTD (or Outfit Of The Day 😉 ) Seeing that the weather is slightly changing towards Autumn, this morning I decided to go Bananas Pineapples! This crazy fabric was a find one of my sewing friends. Once she showed it to the Couture Nomad’s team, we all wanted to get it. She was super nice and went shopping for us (better for the wallet so there is no purchasing 15 different fabrics with no project in mind 😉 )

For this Pineapple trees cotton fabric (that at the beginning thought they were Bananas!!) I wanted a girly dress. So the Jade pattern, by Louis et Antoinette, was perfect for it.

I love the detail at the back of this dress. A plunging V back with a stripe that covers exactly what is needed in order to be comfy.jade-sewing-pattern-louis-antoinette-back-detail

You also have a sneak peek of a bomber that I just finished today!

Sew a Little Seam chose me (and other talented ladies) to test their new bomber pattern. Finishing it today was the perfect timing as weather is colder than yesterday, so I already went out with my new bomber! I’ll show you the full garment soon! You can see here the kid’s version of that bomber.jade-sewing-pattern-handmadejade-sewing-pattern-handmade

I am wearing the dress and the bomber today with my Bosabo clogs. So Dutch you could say!jade-sewing-pattern

And to complete my full handmade OOTD, my son is also wearing a handmade bodysuit (that I made for him when it was still too little to wear it, so again, perfect timing!) and handmade shorts. We are fully handmade dressed today 😉 jade-sewing-pattern-louis-antoinette-handmade

We both had a fun time shooting these pics. Now he is sleeping in my arms while I write this article (who needs a babysitter??)

I love wearing the clothes that I make (and dressing my family with handmade clothes also). And you? are you a #memadeeveryday kind of person? What is your OOTD?
