Sewing workshops in Amsterdam

I am so happy to announce the opening of my Sewing Workshops in Amsterdam in a couple of weeks.

Since we arrived to Amsterdam I have been making my studio cozy and welcoming so that all those wanting to learn how to sew can feel at home while learning the sewing techniques.

I teach Couture Nomad’s 12 steps sewing method, so any kind sewing level aficionad@s are welcome. We go smoothly through the sewing techniques while making female and children garments, in a funny and easygoing way.

Each sewing workshop consist in 4 sessions of 3 hours each. And the cost of each sewing workshop is 175 euros. A first session is open on Tuesdays from 9 AM to 12 PM. If this session is not convenient for you, don’t hesitate to let me know which day you would like to come and learn to sew!sewing-studio-sewing-workshop-amsterdam

The sewing lessons are taught in English, French and Spanish. And they take place in Oud Zuid, Amsterdam.

You can join at any time and will start from the beginning, I follow each person individually so that you can grow your sewing skills faster.

  1. Shika Allen

Hi, I came across your site through Pinterest. I live in the US and would love to learn more about sewing. I know a little bit and have made a few things but I have so many flaws. I wish you the best on your sewing classes.

  2. Apart from being highly educated I love to see my wishes for your sewing workshop

  3. Wow, you must be “sew” excited! I taught sewing to 4-Her’s, ages 7 through 18 and it was so rewarding to see how proud the girls AND boys were when they completed a project. Sewing seems to be a lost art and I feel bad that it may not be around in the generations to come.

    • Thanks for your visit and message Martha. Sewing is “sew” fashion nowadays lol! little girls are so smart with a sewing machine, it is amazing, isn’t it?

  4. I’ve always wanted to sew. I bought a used machine once in a thrift store, and it worked for a day before getting all jammed up. It was incredibly frustrating! I really wanted to learn, too. Good luck on your new studio and workshop classes!

    • I know how it feels when it gets all jammed… but you have to keep on trying till you know how to avoid all that. If you want to learn to sew, you can also learn online the same sewing method I teach (please note this is NOT an affiliate link or I don’t get any commission for it, just trying to help ;-)), go here to know more:
      See you around!

  5. Alas, I don’t live in Amsterdam but I do love to sew and am always excited to learn new skills. Will spend more time sewing when winter comes!
